How to Read your Bill
Metro Pacific Iloilo Water Statement of Account (SOA) is the monthly water bill that is issued to our customers. It reflects the customer’s monthly consumption and billing, including the breakdown of charges.
Service Information
This part shows your contact information, including the Service ID (SID) or the unique ten-digit identifier designated to your account to distinguish it from all other accounts. This information must be kept confidential.
- Service ID
The unique ten-digit identifier designated to your account to distinguish it from all other accounts. - Rate Class
The rate code classification of the service connection based on its economic activity, aligned with LWUA's classification of service connection.
Metering Information
This part provides basic details about your water meter, and specifies the meter's reading of your current consumption, which is the basis for all billing charges. Your account's consumption in the previous three months is also shown here.
- MRU (Meter Reading Unit)
is the meter reading group of the account.
Billing Summary
The breakdown of all charges can be found in this section.
- Arrears
This pertains to charges billed prior to the billing period. This should be settled immediately together with the current charges to avoid disconnection of water service. - Total Amount Due
This is the total amount that needs to be settled for the billing period. - Payment Due Date
This is the date when the water bill needs to be settled.

This part contains payment and/or service reminders for customers.

Computing your Water Bill
Current Charges before tax:
Basic Charge: This covers the cost of operating, maintaining, improving, and expanding the distribution network, as well as the facilities responsible for bringing potable water to our customers. The Basic Charge is based on the latest approved tariff schedule. Click here to download the Tariff Table.
Government tax: Summation of Local Franchise Tax
Arrears: Overdue payments or due to be made at the end of the period
Penalty: Amount to be paid when a water bill remains unpaid after the due date or disconnection period
Other Charges: These are special miscellaneous charges such as connection fees, unscheduled desludging of septic tank service fees, etc.
Total Amount Due is the Total Current Charges plus any Previous Unpaid Amount.
Payment Due Date is the deadline for paying the Total Amount Due.
Customers may also request to receive their current bill via SMS. Just type MPIW<space>BILL<space>CONTRACT ACCOUNT NUMBER and send it to 0908-818-8552.
